Overview

The MAGNETOM Essenza is a 1.5 Tesla system built for sites that need dependable everyday MRI at a lower running cost. It has a 60 cm bore, a short 145 cm bore length and a magnet weighing about 3.5 tonnes, which eases siting. Gradients deliver 30 mT/m at 100 T/m/s, and the magnet uses zero helium boil-off technology.
